Titanium Gr 2 is a low weight ratio, excellent corrosion resistance ability, and high strength alloy. It is the utmost option to manufacture instrumentation ball valves. These instrumentation ball valves are used in the diverse range of demanding and critical applications that require high levels of reliable performance. In most of the heavy engineering applications, this grade replaces heavier and costly materials and less serviceable alloys.
The designing of these ball valves take all factors into account makes it the most durable, reliable and economical option for manufacturing of instrumentation ball valves. In many applications, it successively enhances the performance and reliability of the instrumentation ball valves.
It is commercial pure grade available in different variants that based on its properties such as resistance ability, strength, ductility, and more. Titanium Gr 2 Instrumentation Ball Valves are utilized for its excellent corrosion resistance, weldability and formability attributes that serve the best performance in critical and demanding applications. This grade is better than its standard version. This grade is bio-compatible and non-toxic in nature.
How titanium grade instrumentation valves manufactured?
This grade is suitable for both hot and cold forming methods. It is idealized for the heat treatment process for higher fatigue strength. This grade is induced in both hot and cold working process. The hot working temperature should not exceed up to 920 deg c. For machining these are processed from electron beam machining process. The machines are required is associated with this grade, thus it requires sharp tooling, low cutting speeds, high feed rates, sufficient lubrication, and rigid set up of machines. This grade is readily formable and weldable with standard welding operations. This grade will not react with any sort of chemicals such as nitric acids, sulfuric acids, phosphoric acids and more.
Its microstructure has alpha grain due to the rapid cooling while machining process. The manufacturing chamber kept in the elevated temperatures in the overall production process. In the aged condition, the machining process is recommended.
Tests-
Those are thermal stability test, pressure test, mechanical test, intergranular corrosion test, micro test, ultrasonic test, chemical test, radiographic test, hardness test, and pitting corrosion test. Other tests are PMI test, micro test, destructive test, macro test and more.
Packaging details:
We pack Titanium Gr 2 Instrumentation Ball Valves in custom packing that includes wooden boxes, crates, plywood cartons, and cases, spiral wound paper tubes, cores on its pallets that are rolled by the thin film of plastic.
