Alloy steel pipes and tubes are widely known for their enhanced mechanical strength, elevated temperature resistance, and excellent wear characteristics. Depending on the chromium, molybdenum, and other alloying elements, these pipes can withstand aggressive fluid conditions, pressure extremes, and thermal cycling. Common grades include ASTM A335 P1, P5, P9, P11, P22, and A213 T1, T5, T9, T11, and T22. These materials offer tensile strength ranging from 415 MPa to 620 MPa and hardness suitable for high-stress environments. Outer diameters typically range from 1/2” NB to 30” NB, with wall thicknesses from 0.1 mm up to 6.35 mm. Available finishes include pickled, polished, or mill-cleaned, depending on the application.
