Stainless Steel 304L Manifold Valves are composed of the most commonly used grade of stainless steel family. These are the most versatile and austenitic steel product that includes a minimum percent of nickel and chromium with low carbon content. In addition to it includes nitrogen content also. The low carbon content in these valves ensures to avoid possible sensitization corrosion in welded modules. These valves exhibit superior resistance to corrosion in many environments and when come in contact with other different corrosive media. Therefore these valves show good resistance in a crevice and pitting corrosion arises in chloride containing environments. Moreover, it also resists stress corrosion cracking at a temperature above 60 degree C. Due to carbide precipitation, these alloys of valves are recommended where the requirements of high strength are above 500 to 800 degree C. These valves are used in corrosive environments such as in chemical containers and salt waters. In annealed situation these valves are non-magnetic but through the cold working or welding process, these become slightly magnetic. The valves feature outstanding resistance to moderately oxidizing and decreasing atmospheres. At cryogenic temperature, these demonstrate superb toughness and strength.
These 304L Manifold Valves are hot worked that are occur after uniform heat up to 1149-1260 degree C and are rapidly cooled to obtain maximum corrosion resistance. While on the other hand these are readily hardened through the cold working process. However, the welding of these valves is done by the all fusion and resistance welding procedure.
