About Stainless Steel 317-

About Stainless Steel 317L-
SS 317L is a low carbon variant of 317 which has primarily molybdenum present in it. This austenitic SS offers improved resistance to corrosion, high pitting resistance to chloride ion solutions, and excellent crevice corrosion resistance at high temperature and pressure conditions. The resistive property of the grade increases as there is an increase in the molybdenum content. The 317L offers must greater resistance property to the grade as compared with other SS grades.
