Alloy information-
904L alloy is the austenitic stainless steel alloy. The molybdenum alloy addition is providing superior resistance to the localized attacks that include crevice corrosion and pitting by chloride and is also resistant greatly at reducing acids. The addition of copper alloy is giving it a very good corrosion resistant ability to several concentrations of the sulfuric acid. The high alloying content is also providing the very good resistant ability to chloride stress corrosion cracking but still, it is susceptible. The low carbon content is making the alloy resistant against sensitization by welding that is preventing intergranular corrosion. It is thus used in many industrial applications all across the globe.
Testing-
The testing of the Stainless steel 904L instrumentation ball valves is conducted in order to check how good the product quality is. The common test conducted on the product is like a positive material identification test, chemical analysis, mechanical test, hardness test, pitting resistant test, intergranular corrosion test, etc. other tests are destructive test, non-destructive test, leakage test, compression test, pressure test and more. special tests are also performed for specific applications.
Product documentation-
The product documentation is done to assure buyers that they are provided only the superior quality of same to the buyers. Heat treatment chart, quality assurance plan, packaging list, commercial invoice, raw material test report, material traceability report, fumigation certificate, etc are documents offered. The TC like MTC as per EN 10204/3.1B, third-party test report, radiography test report, buyers report is provided to the buyers.
